Guitar Hero games have hit the gaming scene and have refined the genre to a great extend. They have single handedly sold over over more then one billion games in a couple of years.
Lets review a couple of these popular games.
DJ Hero
As much as successful as Guitar Hero was. The developers took a big risk in introducing Dj Hero. But they actually did a great job.
What makes the game so dynamic is the animation that you can watch across the screen. The camera angles bring more life to the game.
With a name like DJ Hero you better have some great music. And this game delivers in every instance. All the songs are mixed so you will hear so crazy mixes.
You use a turn table controller to hit the right buttons on the screen. You cannot use a regular controller. You can also hook up a guitar.
Guitar Hero
This is the game that made all the magic happen for all the following games and the genre in general. It set the standard for how these games need to be played.
The graphics are great and you can see your band playing on stage. But you will be to busy concentrating on hitting the right buttons.
The game is tough, so you should better start playing on the easy mode and gradually move to the next level. The medium and hard difficulty is going to be too extreme for a beginner, because it will be too overwhelming.
The game also has a lot of funny elements build into it. During the loading screen you can read some pretty funny stuff.
Guitar Hero 5
The presentation of this game is top notch. The developers have removed all the clutter which makes it easy for gamers to browse quickly and start playing.
The game does not introduce that many new elements. You cannot blame the developers though. How can you improve on a game that already had great game play and controls.
The animation and graphics has been touched up and is up to par with current games on the market.
If you have not played any of the Guitar Hero games then you have been living under a rock for the past years. Don’t wait and start playing them now, like Monsters Of Rock.
